5 Reasons to Visit Our Patient Learning Center

Some cosmetic surgery candidates do extensive research before they choose a surgeon or decide on a procedure, while others seem ready to jump onto the operating table without full consideration. Since I believe an informed patient is the best patient, I encourage everyone to do thorough research prior to surgery. I help prospective patients by providing an online Learning Center that presents a wide range of media to inform and educate those who want to learn about cosmetic procedures in Scottsdale. It’s hard to make the best decision if you don’t know what your options are and what to be wary of. The videos, informative blog posts, and gallery photos available in the Center help you learn about plastic surgery and answer the most common (and some not-so-common) questions. Armed with the information presented there, you can decide what you’d like to explore and discuss further. Here are 5 reasons to visit our Learning Center:

  1. Review before-and-after photographs. Our gallery shows real and inspiring results for most of the procedures that I perform. These include facelifts, tummy tucks, arm lifts, and mommy makeovers (a group of procedures that specifically address pregnancy-related issues). Many other types of plastic surgeries, done for patients at many different stages of life, may also be found in the gallery.
  2. Read about the latest techniques in cosmetic surgery and skin care. You can search my blog by category to focus on your particular area of interest. I discuss many current topics of concern in my regular posts.
  3. Watch plastic surgery videos on a full range of surgical procedures, as well as some non-invasive cosmetic options. I offer you my honest opinion about the choices available to you. To sample just a few of the dozens of videos available, I discuss rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), Botox® and other wrinkle treatments, and talk about how to create harmony through facial rejuvenation (a combination of procedures).
  4. Cut through the hype. In my blog, I dispel myths, discuss procedure advancements, and review various non-invasive therapies. There is often a lot of over-the-top marketing associated with new procedures and products and I feel it’s important to share my opinion about them.
  5. Discover important safety information. I offer candid talk about patient safety, including key qualifications to look for in a plastic surgeon, one of the topics that I’m adamant about.

Doing your homework, taking notes, and asking questions are all important tools in the process of finding the right plastic surgeon—one certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery—as well as deciding on a procedure. My Learning Center videos provide detailed information in a relaxed, conversational setting. Actual patient photographs show successful procedures and treatments, and my blog covers a wide range of plastic surgery topics. I hope these resources help you become a better-educated patient with realistic expectations.
