Certain collagens require a skin test and will be performed in your forearm to check for allergies. Thirty days must pass before collagen can be injected into your face. Allergic reactions are extremely rare.

Postprocedure:
The areas treated may be slightly red for an hour post procedure. No limitations on activities are necessary. Patients absorb the collagen at different rates and generally patients may desire re-treatment in six to twelve months.
